This is a quick snack for an active toddler. It is easy to make and is rich in nutrients with no added sugar or fat.

Prep Time: 30 minutes Servings: 8 small balls

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Mixer
  • Pan for dry roasting
  • Baking tray 
  • Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • Dried cranberries – 15g
  • Almonds – 25 g
  • Walnuts – 15g
  • Seedless dates – 40g
  • Cashews – 15g

Method

  1. Measure all ingredients 
  2. Dry roast all the nuts until fragrant
  3. Pulse dates to a paste and keep aside
  4. Pulse nuts coarsely along with cranberries
  5. In a bowl mix the dates paste along with pulsed nuts
  6. Make into equal sized balls

Enjoy as such (or)

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. 
  2. Transfer the balls to a baking tray lined with parchment paper 
  3. Bake for 3 to 4 min 
  4. Allow it to cool and enjoy

Shelf life: 2 – 3 weeks

Storage: Store in an airtight container – keep refrigerated
