Karunya 1987-1991 batch mates came together after 30 years during COVID lockdown in the year 2020 and decided to do a Christmas song. When the world shutdown, we were able to encourage each other and were able to get together virtually and did a Tamil Christmas Carol. Ever since, we have been doing this once a year. This year we decided to do an English Christmas Carol- An adaptation of Don McLean’s Go Tell it on the Mountain.
Although we are spread across the globe, we were able to get together and were able to put together this song with 3 part harmony.
Brainerd Dharmaraj as usual lead this group with his musical skills and performed Keyboard Orchestration and Vocal arrangements for the song.
Kishore Victor who is a talented guitarist did his magical guitar licks and coordinated for this audio engineering output.
The participants some of them being musicians themselves along with talented singers did their harmony parts. Beatrice Seventline, Suseela Jenson, Prince Peter, Robinson Edwin, Joseph Warrior, Joseph Vinodhraj and Richard Thomas did sing in this choral ensemble.
